Not sure what to say?

Scott will be sorely missed in the conservation community, particularly for his dedication to Piping Plover conservation in MA. Under his watch, numbers of this species at risk increased dramatically.

Scott was an exceptional person, kind and highly personable. He was also an extremely dedicated and talented conservationist and scientist. His contributions to species at risk conservation will leave a lasting legacy. Our sincere condolences to his loved ones on behalf ot the Resource Conservation Program - Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada.

While I didn't have many interactions with Scott at work, I always knew him as a very nice & personable guy who always had a smile. I'm sad I did not get the chance to work with him on any projects. May our thoughts & prayers be with you & family.

Scott was an exceptional wildlife biologist, friend, and greatly respected colleague. His monument is the the continuing health of the Piping Plover population and all the other birds he spent a career studying, conserving, and restoring. He was a great scientist not only because of his own stellar accomplishments in the field (which were many), but because he facilitated the work and careers of so many young scientists with his encouragement, advice, and good humor, and who have since joined...

With Deepest Sympathy for your loss...

Dear Sueanne, David and girls - I was stunned to see Scott's obituary. What a tragedy for so many, including his wife. I know your grief at losing Tinker and now Scott has to be a heavy weight on all of you. My sympathies to all of you for this sad time.

Such a great guy to know and work with for so many years, loved his laugh and upbeat personality. You will be greatly missed. The Fish/Wildife Office is very quiet today. My deepest sympathy to family and friends.

I have found memories of you as a young lad. I remember you helping me with my home work, when I was taking care of you. I know you are at peace and with your parents, and the family has an Angel watching over them. I appreciate the contribution you made to the Wildlife preservation. Love you. Amanda
