Scott J. Springer

1935 - 2018

Scott J. Springer of Bothell, Washington passed away on December 29, 2018. Scott was born to Scott and Mary Springer of Crawford, Oklahoma on July 16, 1935. Scott lived on the family farm until he was drafted from high school into the Army. He proudly served two years in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1960. Scott married Nancy, September 1, 1960. Nancy and Scott raised two children together. He loved the northwest and spent hours fishing and camping with his boys. Scott began his career as a mechanic and became a small business owner. Scott was preceded in death by both parents; his sisters, Ressie, Carolyn, Sylvia, Dora; and brother, Lloyd. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy; sons, Todd (Christina) and Aron (Wendy); grandchildren, Andrew and Charlotte; brother, George W.; sister, Mae Sue Bright; and nieces and nephews. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road Lynnwood, WA 98036 on January 10, 2019 at 2:00pm.
