I am so sad to hear this.. he was a great guy. One of the first people in HB I met years ago when I came out from Texas to learn how to surf. He sold a great cup of coffee, gave me lots of free advice, and rented me an old surf board for almost nothing. He was a cool cat, laughed out loud when I told him he should run for mayor of huntington beach. To his family and friends, i am so sorry for your loss.

I knew Scotty from Java Jungle/Surf Shack as I lived up the street. Scotty was always smiling and outgoing. He loved his child and looked forward to his new life in Costa Rica. My condolences on your family's loss.
