The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Schmidt Funeral Home East Avenue Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Daniel Schramm officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date in Katy Magnolia Cemetery.
