MS. SENOLIA BRUTON WATSON OWENS was born in Haughton, Louisiana on September 26, 1912, the last of nine children born to her late parents Mary Stringer Bruton and Marcus Bruton. In December of 1934, Miss Senolia Bruton was united in Holy Matrimony to Louis Albert Watson. Five children were born to that marriage; Frank, Mary Senolia, Clarence, Dorothy and Lois Marie. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her late husband Louis Watson in October 1970, and her youngest child, Lois Marie Watson in August 1991 respectively. Later in life Mrs. Watson entered into a very brief marriage with J.T. Owens, a childhood friend, who also preceded her in death. Beset by various physical ailments and increasing limitation, she often spoke of going home to live with the Lord. Accordingly, Mrs. Senolia Bruton Watson Owens transitioned this life September 10, 2007 and has indeed gone home to live with the Lord.
