She was a big part of our daily childhood lives. I think we saw her at least 6 out of every 7 days. She introduced me to reading mysteries (Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and Agatha Christie). I don't know how I forgot about the hook-rug craze. She got us all on that for a good year or two.
