Sharon Louise Jones age 63, of Carl Junction passed away on May 9, 2015 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born October 3, 1951 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Sharon was raised in Lovington, New Mexico where she attended all of her school years. She went to college in Hobbs, New Mexico where she went to beauty school. Sharon worked at her mother's charm school and beauty salon for many years making people beautiful. She loved to read and Stephen King was her favorite author. Shopping was a very fun past time for her and she always tried to keep up with the newest fashions. Sharon love to plant flowers and loved her little tomato and jalapeno gardens. Loving her children took all of her time and thoughts. Sharon wanted to always help in making her children's lives better. She loved to spend quality time with her children. She would go shopping with her son, and take road trips with her daughter where they would have conversation and listen to music. Her kids were her everything. She was also very close with her brother; they shared the love of Books. Her brother would often send her new books. They also shared the same sense of humor: dry and smart. She was sassy and always had a quick comeback. Sharon lover her baby dog, Jolie very much. Once when she was younger she broke into an animal shelter in Lovington to free all the animals. She wore her heart on her sleeve and she passed that big heart on to her children. She always said her biggest accomplishment was raising two independent and fair children. Sharon is survived by her two children, Natasha Ellis and Marty Ellis; her little daughter, Jolie Jones; brother, John Millsap; fathers, George Teague and Lewis Millsap; granddaughters, Shakelia Thomas and Zoie Standridge. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Teague and her grandmother Norman. Sharon has been taken for cremation and the family will have a memorial service on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Granny Shaffer's Restaurant private room. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
