Not sure what to say?

Mrs. King was my gym teacher at Guilford High School in the late 70's. She signed my yearbook with encouraging words for a quiet student. I also had Mr. King as my teacher for typing class on manual typewriters. They were both great faculty who made GHS a terrific school.

Dear Shelley,

Your Mom was a great woman in every facet of her life. She lived life to the fullest. I feel honored to have met and shared a little piece of my life with her. I will pray for you and your family!

Let your tears water your soul! I just lost my Mom recently and know how difficult it must be for you. I send you prayers & love.

Love you,

Condolences to all who knew and loved Sharon King, especially her family. There is a soft spot in my heart for Mrs. King. As a "geeky," not-so-athletic teenager in the early '70s, Guilford High School's 4 year P.E. requirement was daunting! Mrs. King was a wonderful teacher, who made class fun, even if I wasn't the best or most coordinated. She and my family kept in touch even after I graduated, until she moved away. Rest in Peace, Mrs. King, from one of many lives you touched.

I used to babysit Sharon's children on Rural Street. So sorry to hear about Sharon's passing. She was an enthusiastic teacher and loving mom...a mentor to me.

Your parents were wonderful friends for so many years. It is such a terrible loss to the world. A good thing is that they are home with the Lord and are home in no pain in a wonderful place that no one could imagine. As you look up at the stars at night just think of them with comfort knowing they are home and safe. Watching over all of you with Joy and Love.
