"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13
Shawn Davin Fox, born March 27, 1975, entered into everlasting life on March 8, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with an aggressive, rare form of cancer. From his earliest childhood years, one could tell how sharp his mind was. He could complete 1,000- piece puzzles and was also reading by the age of three. He attended Westmoore High School and Putnam City North High School. Shawn was the ultimate competitor; he didn't even like losing a coin toss! His favorite sport to play was tennis. He started playing at the age of seven, winning numerous titles, both in singles and doubles, including being the1993 5-A State High School Champion. His good luck charm was Noden, a small Troll figure that he would take with him to tennis matches. He was a sports fanatic, especially when it involved the OU Sooners. He loved all OU sports, but was most passionate about football, watching and attending games since the age of three. Shawn always looked for the unique in his life, and this carried into his work choices. Some of his work endeavors included working at a seafood port in the Alaskan Pribilof Islands, to testing video games at Nintendo in Seattle, Washington. He fell in love with Seattle, but ultimately his love for his family brought him back to Oklahoma City. His greatest refuge and comfort was his family. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Gary Fox and wife, Sherry; sister Tina Fox-McDougal, husband Michael, and their children, ChrisTina and Rydge; brother Brett Fox; sister Britni James, husband Isaac, and their children; sister Brielle Simpson, husband Clayton, and their sons, Brecken and Brody; brother Brynnan Fox; and many other relatives and friends, too numerous to name, but all of them important to Shawn. Shortly before passing to glory, his older sister asked him to tell her something good. His response was, "It's all good". Our greatest comfort is knowing that he knew his final destination was with Jesus at the right hand of God in Heaven.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
