Not sure what to say?

Here it is January 2023 and I miss you still every day. You were my ballast, my mom, my best friend. I was so lucky to have you as my mom. I hope when my time comes I will see you again. Your darling daughter

I am so sad to hear about Sheila's passing. She was a great lady and I enjoyed her company. She helped me in a volunteer capacity many times at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site and even after I left state parks, Sheila and I stayed friends.

Sending love in memory of one who loved so much!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Sheila's passing. Have lost touch with both Sheila and Jack over the years. Many fond memories from the Standard Copy days. She will be missed but her memories will last!

My very best to Jack and the family.

Mom.. You taught me so much. I will cherish you always!

Nanny,

You weren't like other grandmothers. You didn't sit home and knit, you were always out and about doing your favorite things; canoeing, hiking, snow shoeing, going to see plays, etc I could go on. Most of the time you had to call me back because Jack would say you were out! When you were home you picked up the phone with so much joy in your voice. And for that, you are an inspiration to go out and live life.

You helped take care of me and raise me when my mom...

That's my mom. She died happy, we miss her.!

I will long remember the pleasure it gave me to share hikes and beautiful places with Sheila and my cousin Jack, and how she would pull out her fabulous cookies just when we needed a boost. I'm so happy to have this photo of Sheila and one of her companionable black dogs, which is how I will remember her. Margee Daniels Kooistra
