Dear John, I am saddened to learn of your Mother's passing. I fondly remembered Shiena Polehn, as I was preparing for my Mom's upcoming funeral services. Your Mother taught US Citizenship classes in Los Banos and my Mom was one of many she helped. I am forever grateful to have known your Mother and I will remember her for her wonderful smile and patience.

Another April 1st came and gone. I was up at 4:30 AM thinking of Shiena as is my tradition on her day and time of death.

Just checking in. Read the Obit on Shiena, maybe 100+ times now. Odd since I wrote it. I'm still thinking of my Mother everyday.

We just passed Shiena's 95th Birthday and had flowers at Ascension Lutheran Church in Medford and at her home. I will post shortly.

I was up on the one year anniversary of my Mother's death. I made a post on her Facebook page and i'm glad to connect with any of her friends. Thank you for visiting her page.
