Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Garrey. Dear mother of Gaye (Harry) Hammer, D. Reid (Pamela) Garrey, Michael Garrey, Carole (Keith) Wennik. Grandmother of Brooke (Troy) White, Holly (Shaun) Tegethoff, Taiylor Wennik, Christine (Steve) Peck, Jacqui (Ben) Sherwood, Wade Wennik, Maddie Garrey, Chase Wennik, Michael Garrey, Paige Garrey, Taylor Garrey and the late Brad Hammer. Great grandmother of Bradley, Reid, Avery, Braxten, Eliana. Dear Sister, Aunt and Friend to many.
Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. I could write a book about my 59-year friendship with Shirl. We started out as friends and ended up as sisters. We laughed together, cried together and had lots of fun together. I will really, really miss her. But it was time or her to join Gordon and that makes me smile. We love all of you.

We are in Florida and just got the word from Marge Rittenhouse about Shirley leaving us.
She was one fine lady and will be remebered for all the times she battled her health and always stood tall. One of the greats...
We are sure she will be missed by her family most of all.

Shirley Garrey was the most encouraging, cheerful, and kindest people that I've known. Heaven is a better place now that she is among the saints who reside there. We will miss her, but we know her Redeemer lives!
