Not sure what to say?

Shirley was a stellar employee at the University of Texas. Everyone appreciated her willingness to help with any problem. Always cheerful and blessed with an infectious smile she was a friend to many around her. She will long be remembered. My condolences to the family. There will be a writeup about her on the UT Physics History site. Thanks to the family for the loving collection of photos and beautiful obituary.

I will miss Shirley. She was a very supportive mother in law during the time I was married to her son Michael. I will miss her laugh and her sweet spirit.

Remembering my friend Shirley Hurt who shared my love of Frankie's Mexican Restaurant nearly every Tuesday for three years. Can a woman from Ottumwa, Iowa be a Steel Magnolia? I miss you, Betty White.❤

This morning I read of Shirley's death in the Dallas Morning News. I have been a volunteer from the Richardson First Baptist Church monthly birthday group for several years. I got to know Shirley and loved her. Just last month I spoke to Shirley and said she did not look or act as if she was feeling well. I will miss her presence at the monthly birthday parties. She was special to me.
