Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Shirley was a dear friend of my mom's (Connie Brinkworth) and I have many fond memories of her. She was a very kind and loving woman and brought joy to so many people. She will truly be missed.

My beautiful, sweet Aunt, you will be (and are) deeply missed by your entire family. You honored your father's wishes, after the untimely loss of your parents and help the Hunter clan together. We will all be forever grateful for what you did; we are enjoying relationships that run several generations deep now, all because of you.

You will live on in our hearts and minds.

Thank you to all of you who have signed this guest book. It is comforting to hear from friends and people who knew our Mom along the way. She was very special! We are missing her so much.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Shirley. Remember so well the years when we all lived in the Mpls. area and could share holidays and other special times together. Very good memories with love. Myrt and George Miller

Shirley was a basic influence for who I became and who I remain. She was a nursing school colleague and life-long friend of my mom(Betty) and was also my Godmother. Though I didn't recognize it at the time, she taught me lasting lessons in humility, compassion and cheerfulness. But she also held grit and spunk in reserve; appropriately unleashing it in some wonderful "debates/discussions" with my ever opinionated Dad. The Greatest Generation's loss, is God's Angels gain. May peace...

Shirley was a wonderful caregiver to both Mom and Dad at Martin Luther Manor. Such a dear lady in the white cap. Also a friend at St. Lukes.
