Not sure what to say?

To Pete's note, I'd like to say & agree with everying he said. We couldn't believe how he could play accordio, button accordion, & concertina, all with ease, & always there was his humor. I played tuba, but also a Zunpan chromatic accordion. We'd like to meet you & wife if you are living somewhere in the MN area. Just southwest of Mpls in Waconia. On Aug. 24th in nearby Young America they are having "Stiftungsfest" (Founder's Day) with many bands playing German...

Sid and I attended railroad telegrapher school in Minneapolis in 1949. We lived in separate apartments in a three-story house in Minneapolis. Sid and I kept in loose contact over the years. He worked in Seattle and stopped and visited me and my family in Richardton, N.D., when he moved back to Minneapolis with his wife and family.
Sid made the trip to Menomonie, Wis., about 10 years ago to visit with me and my wife Bonnie when we were at our daughter Margo.
He was the best accordion...

Sid was my, & our friend. We met shortly after the death of his wife at a band gathering. He, I, & my wife were musicians. He joined our band, The Coney Island crew, & we played often, until he couldn't make it heath wise.
I wanted to attend the funeral, & give a eulogy, but we live in the country, & the weather is treacherous.
Hopefully one of his family would contact us. He will be missed!
