My wife and I got to know Sonia and Gene while living at Quail Creek in Naples, FL. They were such a nice couple and gracious even when Gene was struggling with his terminal illness. They would stop their car to wave and say hello to me when they drove by. I was glad that we got to know them. They will be sorely missed by all. God bless both.

I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Carter during my years at Concord. As a student, the Business Department was the greatest department to be a part of and Mrs. Carter was one of the reasons. I thank her and Mrs. Edmonds for helping me have an enjoyable, successful business and teaching career. Mrs. Carter was beautiful inside and outside!
