Sister Margaret Taylor, IWBS Sisters, & McNamara Family & friends,
My deepest condolences and prayers at the death of Sr. Mary Catherine.
I begin to know her a bit when she and I were novices and our directresses, Sr. Mary Ellen Ryan and Sr. Irene asked us to write each other.
Then, I lost touch with her. However, we reconnected when she and I attended the International Reunion in Brownsville. What an amazing gift that was! We kept in touch and the last time I saw...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mcnamara family during this difficult time. We will keep Mary in our prayers.

Sr. Margaret Taylor and all the Pharma Height ,Ohio SIW Sisters and all the McNamara family on the death of Sr. Mary Catherine. She will be greatly missed not only by her family , her religious community but all the young women she had the privilege to assist at Breen Philips at Notre Dame University these last four years.
Sr. Mary Catherine was a great friend of my religious community, the CVI of Houston, TX. She & Sr. Margaret would visit with us a day earlier or stay a day later...

My thoughts and prayers are with Maureen and her family during this difficult time. So sorry for your loss. May you always cherish her memories forever.

What a beautiful human being, Sr. Mary was and a role model for women through her loving kindness. I met her a year ago in connection with her offer to have the dorm she ran at Notre Dame adopt an alumnae's daughter who was fighting brain cancer. Sr. Mary's faithfulness and leadership in that was sight to behold ... an amazing woman who is now with Our Lord. My deepest sympathies to her sisters, family, and many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the Mcnamara family during this difficult time. May God provide comfort as only He can. Hold on to your faith, family and friends knowing you will see her again.

Sister Mary brought a smile to our faces. She always greeted us with kindness as we entered the doors of Breen-Phillips Hall. She made it easy for all the parents because we knew she would watch out for our loved ones. She handled many situations with fun and grace. She was a compassionate and strong woman. She will continue to be a role model for us all.
