Not sure what to say?

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Stacie when I was at Hospice of Spokane as a social worker. Her love for palliative care and comfort was obvious every time I saw her. I am praying for her family and am sad to know this world has lost such a warm and generous soul! Lenore McDonald, MSW

Dr Bering saved my life from a violent miscarriage even though I wasn't one of her patients at the time. Later, under her care, she saved me from cervical cancer. Her approach to Woman's health was groundbreaking. She treated the entire woman. She was the finest doctor I ever had. She truly cared about every patient she treated regardless of how much money you made or the social standing of her patients. Her leaving this world was a great loss to the medical community and the women of...

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Dr. Bering. She delivered my daughter in 1983. I had no idea about her health challenges but was extremely grateful to her and Dr Silverstein's care for several years. Condolences to her family and colleagues. She'll be remembered fondly.

I met Stacie during Embryology class at UC Berkeley and we followed each other to medical school and ob-gyn residency at Baylor. She was a friend and confident during those years and I recall her excitement as she planned to move to Spokane to practice with Pam, and met Jeffrey along the way. We spoke sporadically but she always shared the many joys (and accomplishments) in her life, even as her struggles increased. With fond memories and deep sadness. Matt Cort

Dr. Bering was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the best OB/GYN. You could talk to her about anything and she would just listen. She always made you feel like you were truly being heard. Prayers to her family for the loss of one of our angels on earth. You will be missed.

Dr Stacie was one amazing lady who lived a very full & accomplished life!
She was one of my DR’s (WomanHealth) in ‘85/‘86 and again in ‘94/‘95 when she delivered my son on 1/19/1995. The look on her face when I went in for my weekly checkup was priceless as I was literally minutes away from giving birth and the “rush was on” to get to the hospitalWhat a day that was!
My heart breaks for the family. May the memories, stories and pictures bring them comfort in the difficult days...

I am so sorry to hear that Dr. Bering passed away. She was a special MD and listened and spent time with her patients. You could talk to her about anything and she listened. Was a kind lady. Was always a positive person. My prayers are with her family. I was her patient for several years and worked with her when she did palative care at Deaconess.
