Read MoreI am going to miss Stan’s interactions at family get together. Stan always had great stories and I appreciated how he & my dad had their railroad talks. It was evident how much he loved his wife, Norma and all his children. We are sad to let him go but I know our Heavenly Father welcomed Stan home with a “well done, good and faithful servant!”

Mr.Shaffer was a regular patron of the New Haven Library. He and Mrs. Shaffer would "share" their bestselling titles with their 2 daughters Chris and Karen. Mr. Shaffer was always smiling and would talk to me and my other coworkers. New Haven has lost a great man and he will truly be missed. My condolences go out to the entire Shaffer family. I'm sending virtual hugs to Norma, Chris and Karen.
