Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Steve and my dad were good friends during my dad's time at camp thunderbird. We send our prayers out to family and we feel that dad and steve are up above enjoying a beer.

I remember Steve well from our days at PHHS. He was always a "free spirit", and
just a good guy.

To family and friends of this kind man, our hearts go out to you for your loss. We wish we could have been there to say goodbye to a very dear friend. He will be truly missed.

All of the Barton family are in my prayers. I remember Steve as a precious pre-teen. I am sorry I didn't know him in later years. God's blessings on all who know and love him.

Steve was a good and kind man. He always had that big smile whenever he was around. RIP my friend.

To Steve's family and friends, I am so so sorry for your loss. Steve was such a great guy with such a big heart.

I was shocked and saddened when I read that Steve had died. I grew up with him, Johnnie, and Wynn in Ashland, was a friend of his mother, and made numerous visits to his father's veterinary office. Over the ensuing years I had such good times with him at many parties. He was a joy to be around. As Pat Morris so aptly said .... 'he will be missed by the "old gang'." My deepest sympathy to his family.

The last time I really danced was with Steve Barton. We kicked up a dust storm with a small group of people and a cd player at the north recreation association . Peace be with all that loved and cared for this good soul.

Steve, you will be truly missed. One of the nicest human beings, I have ever met. We were neighbors and could not have asked for a better caring and helpful man. Very thoughtful I am glad to have know you.
