Not sure what to say?

Stephen was an inspiration to me and, I think, all of the uk HR community. He brought creativity, energy, positivity, personal support to me and many ...and humour (so valuable) at a time when we really needed it. I remember him very fondly and mourn his passing. I send my deep condolences and hope that the mark Stephen left on so many others is some form of comfort.

My heart goes out to Stephen's family, please know that you are in my prayers. I was fortunate to work with Stephen at IB, he was an incredibly helpful and considerate colleague and also just always a pleasant person to chat with. Truly a bright and positive presence around our office and I am deeply saddened by the news of his loss.

I am incredibly saddened by this news. I feel fortunate to have known and worked with Stephen at the IB and am forever inspired by his zest for life and never ending optimism. My deepest sympathies to his family.

So sorry to hear about Steve. When Steve brought his dog into West Hampton TShirt to purchase a T Shirt the dog before he left bit the sleeve off off a sweatshirt. We still laugh at this. Steve will be missed.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Stephen's sudden passing. While in the office of the International Baccalaureate, Stephen was intentional to get to know staff personally. We would often stop at the coffee machine and talk about education and shared experiences with US immigration. He talked about his family, often. He offered invaluable advice, in his role as Head of HR. My deepest sympathy are with his family and all those close to him.

I want to express my deepest condolences to the Battalia family. I worked with Stephen at the IB and he always had a smile on his face and pleasant demeanor. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
