May God bless you and your...
poem by Mary E Durham
I press my face against the window pane
Hoping to see you pass this way again
Inside the tears are streaming down
Outside the rain.
With one resolve I slowly turn away
"No more shall I watch there", I firmly say
Vehemently! "So help me, God," I pray.
But soon I'm staring thro' the window pane
Despite my firm resolve, I sigh again;
Inside the tears are streaming down,
