Not sure what to say?

Steve was one of my best friends during my high school years when we all lived in Southlawn in Montgomery. He was a couple of years older than me.Regretfully, I lost contact with him after he went in the Marines. I remember him as a great athlete, and for his sense of humor and toughness. I'm glad to hear he was a Christian. I am sad to find out about his passing.

I am John Burgess and met Steve Jenkins when we lived in Southlawn in Montgomery, Alabama in the early 70s. In March 1975 Steve, Lloyd Southerland, and myself joined the Marine Corps together and were shipped off to Paris Island for boot camp. I know Steve was a christian and I am sure he is in heaven. Steve was a great person and I was very sad to hear this news. God bless
