Stephen M. Karpusiewicz, age 65 of Hendersonville, died Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital. He was born August 5th, 1952 in Queens, New York; a son of the late Walter Joseph and Jean Androsiglio Karpusiewicz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Zane Graves; daughter, Felicia Reeves and by his brother, Walter ""Binky"" Karpusiewicz.
He graduated from New York University and enjoyed coin collecting and golfing. He was a member of the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his wife, Marshia Moore Karpusiewicz of the home; three sons, Kirk Graves of Weaverville, Gene Stubbs, Jr. of Enka-Candler and William Reeves, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Suzan Bayorgeon of Stevens Point, WI; ten grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Marshal, Samantha, Taylor, Shannon, Chaise and Addison Reeves, and Kyle and Morgan Stubbs; one great-granddaughter, Malaya Reeves; two brothers, Allen Karpusiewicz and his wife, Annemarie of West Chester, NY and William Karpusiewicz and his wife, Trisha of Washington, NY; and by one sister, Audrey Madden of Flushing, NY.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 in Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel officiated by Salvation Army Major Brian Gilliam. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
