Not sure what to say?

I imagine Steven playing music in heaven and telling the Duck joke. I miss my friend.

We were best buddies in high school. Lost track of him. The last day I saw him was the day Pres Regan was shot. Very sorry he passed. Steve Borgwardt 775 848-9091

Last time I saw Macie he was sitting on a park bench with Steve Grauten! Hadn't seen Macie in probably 25 years. Many great memories of Steve and Marian and so sorry for our collective loss. RIP Macie!

I only knew Stephen while we both attended Cal Poly. I remember him from our initial meeting in Fremont Hall our first year there ('64). He was a budding folk singer then, and had the Dylan sound down pretty well. I enjoyed his unpretentious nature. He was wiser than I and spent much of his life in San Luis with many of the same guys I got to know and love during those wonderful days. I lost contact with him after Poly but from what I read in his Obit. it is obvious he was loved by many....

Steve participated in the friendships and frivolities at "Buckley Ranch." He helped me work thru my craziness at that time. There were many adventures...like walking thru the cows at midnite. I'm fortunate to have had him for a friend.

So THATS where I heard the "duck walks into a bar."

Dear Marian and Family,
The Hixson Family sends our condolences and wants you to know that we share in your sorrow.
Sincerely,
Don, Dot, Crissy, Connie, Janie and Nancy Hixson

I first knew Stephen Macie and the crew way back at cal poly...many good times. Stephen had a wonderful personality always friendly and fun loving. Stephen's engineering design services were clear as well as detailed from a common sence point of view. Must have come from Hans Mager's cal poly way... god is with you in heaven Stephen Macie and god bless your family...
