Steve and I were AEPi fraternity brothers at Cornell from early 1963 through graduation in 1966, so I had the great pleasure of knowing him well as a friend-marvelous dry sense of humor, always a ready smile, self-effacing while at the same time one exceptionally smart guy. That he went on to become a leading labor lawyer in the country is no surprise. Deeply dsorry to hear that we lost one of the really good guys.

Steve was a larger than life reason to celebrate life. He was an exceptionally gifted attorney who warmly and wisely gave his outstanding contributions to those he represented, to the causes he championed, to his profession and to those he taught and mentored during his career. He led lawyers in various professional organizations and gave advice and skills to young attorneys as well as to skilled and established attorneys seeking guidance and advice and knowledge. His work will be remembered...
