I have been honored by having had the great opportunity to have had acquaintance with parts of this mans family. Thank you.

Dear Mary Lou and Cousins,
Uncle Steve will be remembered as a real gentleman. He was so kind, and always genuinely interested in all his nieces and nephews and their families. We loved the get togethers at the Ranch and the cabin. What a legacy of goodness the has left! Our prayers are with you, Shauna, Steve, Sherm, and Allison. Until we meet again, Uncle Steve.

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I grew up with the Smoot family and thought every one of them was an exceptional person. Steve was so kind to me and made me feel welcome and important. What a wonderful man. My condolences to you all.

Stephen Smoot is a great man with an amazing legacy. I knew him all my life and never heard a unkind word leave his mouth. He's kind as the day is long. He is missed but I am sure he is happy to go home.
