Not sure what to say?

I haven't talked to Steve since high school, but the words expressed here are the same ones I felt then. He was very humble; almost to a fault and he was very kind. I always wished that he would look my way more often, but he was always so shy and reserved. His light now shines above.

I miss my friend Steve, he was a great guy.

Steve was not only a talented but very dedicated engineer at the DEQ. I'm so thankful to have known him. The memory of Steve will be always in our hearts.

I worked with Steve for about 5 years at DEQ. We shared a passion for music and Steve taught me a lot about the local music scene. He worked hard, played hard, and was all around a good soul. He made our days a little brighter. Rock on, Steve.
Maggie Sadoff (former DEQ toxicologist, Air Quality)

Steve was the sweetest guy I have ever met. His smile could light up a room. He will be dearly missed.

Steve was a treasured colleague of mine for the past 19 years. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help others and to keep things light and fun. He was a very talented engineer and musician, but always very humble. He will indeed be missed. Mary Lee Hultin (Lansing, MI)

You will be missed dear cousin.

Another Musician jammin' in heaven.
Steve will be missed.

May we continue to honor and respect all the lessons we have learned; acting as living symbols of a loving spirit. You are in our prayers.
