Not sure what to say?

Elaine, I am so sorry for your loss. I always liked him. Joel and I had hoped to see you both when we were down there several weeks ago, but we just did not have time. I wanted to call you several times but since I did not have your number I couldn't. Steve was special and so right for you. You could see the love you both each time you looked into each others eyes. I am keeping you on my prayers.

A good friend in high school. Sorry we didn't keep in touch.
