Not sure what to say?

My sincere sympathy to the entire Burgess Family at this time of devastating loss of both Steve and his mother, Lynne. My prayers are with all of you for your comfort and peace at this tragic loss.

Dan, I am saddened to hear of the passing of your sweet son...he was the same age as my son. God bless and keep you and your family.

Steve blessed our family for many years. He was the best friend to Mickey that anyone could ask for. He was such a kind, considerate and loving young man. We will miss him more than words can say. Our deepest condolences to Dan, Jana and Scott.

Dan, Jana, Scott, and all close family and friends, we share in your love and care for Steve. He was a wonderful young man and, thankfully, is now back with his beloved mother. We definitely are coming to the dinner and the service; we very much look forward to exchanging warm hugs with all. Much love, Robert Shirley and Sharon Templeman

Dan, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet son. I'm keeping you and your family close in my heart and prayers. Your friend, Roseann

Steve was the best. We sure had some fun times together. He was always there when anyone needed him. I will miss you everyday my friend. Until we meet again. Love you Judy Zapp.

Steve was such a beautiful person with such a kind disposition. Every time we spent time with him and Mickey we would laugh so much and have the best conversations. I feel lucky to have known him. RIP buddy!

Would that the world had more people like sweet Steve. I'll never forget his perseverance in the eye of the storm that is Juvenile Diabetes. Seeing him on his way to the nurses office to take a shot....with a smile! Meanwhile I was freaking about an allergy shot ever so often. How does one maintain such an attitude in life when dealt such a hand? Well, if Steve was any indication,
With a SMILE.
Rest peacefully in your Mother's embrace sweet boy . May you forever fish full rivers...
