Not sure what to say?

I have no idea of the year, but I was the first one to start training Steve in his banking career at First National Bank. In those days, a new officer would have to go around and learn every single job first. What a great time we all had in the basement of First National. And then, of course, I met Shirley. What a great couple of friends. Steve will be missed by many. My thoughts are with you, Shirley.

Haven't seen Steve in a gazillion years, but am so sorry for his family's loss. He was a kind, gentle man.

With love.........

I go back many years in knowing both Steve & Shirley to the days at First American National Bank in Port Angeles. What a kind gentleman Steve was and Shirley remember the baby clothes? Prayers of comfort to all of you. I am sure many memories will be forever with you. Diane Good from Lopez at the time.

My dear sister in Christ Shirley and Family,
Although I have only known you for a little over a year, you are indeed like family to me. I feel as if I have lost a brother. He is truly a child of God and has left a Legacy that we should use as an example to try to strive for. He will be missed here on earth only to be joined again later. God Bless you all and hope to meet the rest of the family soon. You know I am here for whatever you may need. Fondly and with Love, In Christ...

I was so shocked to read Steve's obituary in the Sequim Gazette today. Steve was my boss at First Federal and a great mentor. He shared valuable advice, and was the only boss I had that mixed drinks for his staff on Friday after the doors closed! I haven't had the opportunity to see him in many years, but I wanted to share my sincere condolences and fond memories. I am very sorry for your loss.
