Steven "Shorty" McDonald
Steven James McDonald was born November 28, 1966 in DeQueen, Arkansas the son of Robert James McDonald and Rose Etta (Jones) McDonald and had lived in the Valliant area all of his life. Steven graduated from Valliant High School in 1985. He was a member of the Arch Angels Bike Club and loved to ride his motorcycle. He also loved to hunt, enjoyed mechanicing and teasing people. Steven said his nightly prayers, loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Steven was a genuinely good person. He was preceded in death by his mother on March 12, 1997 and his wife, Judy (Hatcher) McDonald in 2000. Survivors include: his dad, Robert James McDonald of Valliant, OK, a son: Steven McDonald, II of Valliant OK, a daughter, Aisesha McDonald of Idabel, OK and their mother Lisa (Batey) Hurd of Idabel, OK and a son Nico McDonald of Valliant, OK; a FiancÃ©e, Shakayla McCleskey of Valliant, OK; step children, Kendra McCleskey and Britton McCleskey both of Valliant, OK; a brother, Scottie McDonald of Valliant, OK; a sister Tonya Gordon & husband David of Millerton, OK; three grandchildren, Kenlie Zilliox, Bryson Hill and Braydence Baker; special aunts: Aunt Mary Barnhill, whom he thought of as his second Mom & her husband Harrison of Valliant, OK, Aunt Ruth McDonald Hankins of Idabel, OK, Aunt JoAnna McElroy, of Coolidge, AZ, Aunt Donna Bizzell of Broken Bow, OK, Aunt Tartina Johnson of Clarksville, TX, Aunt Remelia Pruitt of Paris, TX and Aunt Thelma Dinwiddie of Lancaster, TX; four nieces, two nephews, cousins and a host of special family and friends.
