Steven McGovern

I just heard of Steve's death, I was very sorry to hear the news. We were classmates at McDevitt, I have nothing but good memories of him. God grant him eternal rest.

Thinking about Steve this past week. Steve and I sat next to each other in Anatomy our senior year at McDevitt. I was sick and absent quite a few times throughout the year and he always offered to let me copy notes and help me out when I needed it. His kindness and shy smile is something I will take with me. I am sorry for your loss Mr.& Mrs. McGovern and Mike, he will be sincerely missed.

Although I never met Steven, I want you to know how very sorry I am to learn of his passing. I am librarian at Penn College and lost my 20 year old son five years ago. I think I understand some of what you are feeling now. I will keep Steven and his family in prayers.

I have not seen Steven for years but had the pleasure of growing up next door to the family. We are terribly sorry for the loss of such a great kid! Our thoughts and prayers are with the McGovern family at this time.
