Professionally, as a Realtor here in Flagler Beach, Steve gave me invaluable insight and knowledge into building specifics for FL construction.
Personally, enjoyed his easy ways, his humor & cookouts in that magical backyard with him & Joy. We will soo miss his presence in our neighborhood.

Such a loss and shock. Steve was a dear friend whenever we worked together at the SBA. Every deployment we were working together seemed to end too quickly. At our last deployment together he called for my room no. but went to the wrong hotel.Right number Wrong Hotel. Surprise. That became a running joke between us. My deepest heartfelt condolences.

Steve was one the most enthusiastic people I've ever known. His passing was a real shock. He will definitely be missed by all that have known him. I'm honored to be one of them.

Wow, what a shocker. Steve was so nice and seemed so young at heart. Got to know him by phone at first as SBA reviewer while he worked the inner boroughs of NYC, hunting for parking spots... So he could inspect the houses. Then he eagerly found me in Herndon at a SBA training and we all went together to a restaurant next to the White House. He had a wonderful time and made instant friends with anybody that met him.
I would have visited him in Florida and felt quite at home. Here's to a great guy......
