Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it's been it's been nine long years since Steve died, Although I didn't know Steve outside of the Sierra Club's Water Sentinels program he became one of the best friends I've had in the now 31 years I have lived in Arizona. For those who knew him he was an inspiration and an example of what it means to be a outstanding human being. I only met Jeanne and Sarah once but always enjoyed hearing him talk about them. Especially since my mother Sarah died in 2004 long before I met...

There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't think about Steve Pawlowski. Although I only knew him from the Sierra Club's Water Sentinels program he was one of my best friends of my now over 30 years in Arizona. His influence got me to pick up my guitar, which sat collecting dust on a shelf for probably 30 years. Realizing that I needed to lose weight if I was going to do the things I enjoyed, like Sierra Club Service Projects, I managed to lose over 100 pounds and keep it off (mostly). I...

Jeanie & Sarah, you & the rest of your family are in our prayers. God bless you always.

It was my privilege to have sung with Steve at the Newman Center for many years. I will always be grateful for that experience and his friendship.

Steve was my friend, a colleague and a true gentle soul with a passion for his work. I look fondly back on our days doing "surface water standards" at ADEQ and seeing him in another role as a musician. May you have calm, clean waters my friend.

Singing with Rick and Steve at mass is one of my best memories of the Newman Center years. So sad to hear of this. Would like to know about memorial service if it is not too late. Jeannie and Sarah, peace be with you.

Our deepest sympathy to you. Steve was a valued coworker at AzDEQ and a friend for many many years. His common sense, extensive knowledge of water issues and continued advocacy for science-based decisions regarding Arizona's water future will impact the state in a positive way for many years to come. When the summer rains arrive we will salute and remember again his contributions and friendship.
