Not sure what to say?

My dad and all of us kids got to spend his last few days with him. They were very preciuos to me. I miss him dearly. I got to ask him what his wishes were before he passed on and he told me that he would like for all 7 of us kids to try to meet up with eachother and spend some time together in rememberance of him. I know he enjoyed seeing us ALL together laughing and joking with eachother.
i know that he loved us all deeply and each one of us had a special place in his heart. I hope and...

I just found out a couple days ago, and my heart sank. Another warrior ~ gone.

My deepest sympathies go out to Steve's family ~ he will be greatly missed, I am sure. And also to Leonard, as I know Steve was one of his closest and greatest advocates. His loss is much too great and too deep to put into words. All we can do is press on with what Steve was unable to finish so that his efforts are not in vain.

I met Steve at the Valyermo Fall Festival back in '86,...

To the Robideau Family,(Lorinda,Joaquin,Whihina) My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry for your loss of your father. I don't know him but by reading about him, he sounds like a great person and leader. May he rest in peace and once again my deepest sympathies, Cassandra Yazzie-Begaye

I saw him walking in the forest just the other day. Leader of the struggle.

Fondly remember Steve and his young family during the People's Run for Leonard Peltier across New York State in '81. Gathering vegetables and provisions, rapping about this world and those unseen. A solid bro' to folks of MANY nations. Prayers and blessings to Steve's family and friends. Ride the Wind!

Hey, I miss my grandfather a whole lot.
I miss him, and I loved him very much. I was very glad that I got to sit down and talk to him two days before he passed away. I was very sad, but he told me not to be. But how can I not be? Now I know that he is safe from danger!

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

"Oki-Ni-kso-ko-wa", Safe journey proud Warrior. Prayers in smoke to the Four winds .Deepest regards to the family. Randall(OldBear)Hawley & Family.

I know that Steve is a world renowned warrior. To me, he was a good friend and confidant. When he was here in Elwha he always took the time to talk to you. He will truly be missed all across Indian Country. I want to thank Steve's family for sharing him with us. Although Steve wasn't with us very long he will always be remembered.
