Not sure what to say?

I'm still in shock as I write this, but Steve was a great guy, always very friendly and fun to talk sports with. He will be missed greatly by me and my fellow co-workers. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, who he always spoke highly of.

I remember a day when Steve and Nick recorded a TV commercial for the Family & Children's Center. Steve's voice was caring but confident, just like the ideal dad. And Nick was so cute; his line about naming a dog "Bob" made everyone smile. Steve was so great about doing the commercial -- a couple of hours I will always remember fondly.
Julie - you and your family are in my prayers.

We are so very sorry to hear of Steve's sudden death. Praying for strength for the Smetana family during this difficult time. May all of the beloved memories you've created over the years help give you comfort.
All our love,
Brian, Amanda, Evan and Owen Kist

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Steve was a great guy. I work in the receiving area at the Eau Claire Walmart. Steve made my job fun. He always had a smile and a story. The day he passed the earth got poorer, but heaven sure did get richer.

Ed and I send our deepest sympathy to the entire Smetana Family and will remember you in our prayers. The Impens

My heart breaks for all of you. I have always had and will continue to have great memories of the entire Smetana family. You have a wonderful family and I hope your strength and memories will help comfort you all while dealing with this great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Best wishes to the entire Smetana Family. So, very sorry to hear about Steve's sudden death. May God Bless & Strengthen all of you during this tough time.

Love, Brian, Ryan & Kevin McCarthy ....

Smetana family, I am so sorry to hear of Steve's death. May the loving memories of him warm your heart and may the good Lord have his arm around you.

Friday was my last day on route. I saw Steve at Festival Foods in Eau Claire, shook his hand and we told each other to take care. After receiving the phone call from another vendor this morning, it was instant shock followed by tears. My sincerest condolences to Steve's family and friends. We will miss his laughter.
