Can you believe our baby girl started first grade today?! It seems like yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital. I wish you could have been there to see the smile on her face. I'm sure you're proud of our little girl - she is everything we dreamed for her to be plus more. I often look at her and it's just like looking at you. I miss you so much Stuart. One day we will meet again.

Oh Stuart, where do I begin? As days pass, your loss only gets harder. My heart breaks for our sweet Olivia. She is really struggling with your death these days. I don't have all the answers for her but I'm doing the best I can. I ask that you please pray for her.

I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with your family and visiting your resting place in LA. Olivia can't wait to see everyone! It's not the same without you, but I know you're always with us.

Olivia has been asking a lot about you lately. She always wants to see new pictures, ask what your favorites were, etc. It's very bittersweet; we miss you so much.

You've been on my mind so much recently with your birthday on Monday and your favorite holiday yesterday. I miss you so, so much.

I know you were happy to celebrate this birthday with Grandma Helen. I bet that was a beautiful reunion. She is very loved and will be greatly missed.

You would be so proud of Olivia, she is so smart for her age! She looks and acts so much like you, it's so bittersweet. Livvy likes to ask me questions about you, she is very curious about her daddy. I wish you could be here but I promise you will always be very much alive in our hearts.

We are heading to Lafayette in our two weeks to visit our family. Livvy is counting down the days! Catherine and Natalie are huge blessings in our lives; I feel so close to you when I'm around them....
