Not sure what to say?

Dave and I are saddened by your loss. Susan was a fine woman on and off the curling ice. She showed great leadership and sportsmanship. You always knew where you stood with Susan. I enjoyed playing bridge with her as well. She played fast and didn't equivocate. We wish you comfort in the midst of your pain.

Our condolences to Jack and family for your loss. Just a dynamic lady, she will be missed. Dave and Eunice Dirks, Calgary, Alberta

I worked with Susan many years ago at Dalhousie Co-op in Calgary. Susan was a very special lady.....a marvellous leader, stupendous mentor and a joy to be around. Her infectious laugh and sense of humour will always be remembered. My sincere condolences to all.

Susan was a women that I admired strong fair and a big heart. She always wore high heel shoes so you always could here her coming. She wore them as a warning sign to get to work. She had a great sense of humour and could tell a great joke. Rest in peace sweet lady. Your coop family misses you.

To Susan's family, please accept my sympathy. I have known Susan for twenty years, and I liked her from literally the first few seconds of meeting her. Her laugh was infectious, and I remember hearing it distinctly when we ran into her in Sydney, Australia a number of years ago. Susan set high standards for herself, and expected the same of her staff. She was a boss who certainly stood up for her employees, and gained the respect of many because of this trait. She was a loyal friend, a...

Susan was a great gal and wonderful to work with. A real straight shooter who you could always count on for excellent advice. She gave me the opportunity to join the Co-op team and I had the pleasure of working in a number of different stores at the same time she did. We also retired at around the same time. Seems completely unfair to me that she didn't get to enjoy more time, after working so hard for so many years. A real class act who will be missed by all who knew her. My life was better...

Susan was a very special person to all that knew her.
We both worked with Susan and will never forget her giving nature.
She will be greatly missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Susan Buckley was my Manager at Co-op Airdrie many moons ago. I really admired her. She was tough as they come, but also so very kind. I respected her very much. I always reflect on one memory that has stayed with me for years, even after leaving Co-op. She had come into the break room and she noticed that I was wearing white socks with my work pants. Definitely a fashion no-no which was concealed when I was on the floor working. But they did look extremely tacky when I crossed my leg and my...
