Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Schieffer-
You are in my thoughts as is Susan. She was a wonderful woman who gave so many of us so much strength. She was full of love and spread her love everywhere. We are all so fortunate to have known her. I am honored to say she was my friend. My peace be with you.
Ruth Hund

Dear Mrs. Ruth:

May the peace that comes from memories of love shared with Susan, comfort you, her brothers and sisters, now and in the days ahead, because she was one of those who continue to light up the world long after they have gone.
Holy Scriptures says: A loyal friend is a powerful defense; whoever finds one has indeed found a treasure (Ecclesiasticus 6, 14-17). I give thanks to our Lord for giving me Susan as a friend for more than 24 years and shared with her a lot of...

I worked with Susan at Castro Elementary and was constantly impressed with her kindness, her professionalism, her skills and sensibilities with students and staff as well. The news of her passing is extremely sad and I send my prayers to her family and all friends. May she rest in peace!

Susan, it is with great sadness that your family and friends bid you goodbye from their presence but it is with great joy that they celebrate your entry into your true home in Heaven. May God's love and peace surround them as you surrounded them with your love. You were a beautiful person, full of love and compassion for others. You will be greatly missed but we all are greatly blessed for having known you. Thank you for loving us!

When Theresa called to tell me Susan had died, one of my reactions was, She was my best friend. When I hung up the phone I thought, I bet Theresa is getting a lot of that. Susan had lots of best friends because she was such a good friend.

Susan took her time - at everything. Maybe in her honor we could take a walk in her beloved mountains and take the time to appreciate their beauty. We could take the time to read a good book and sip tea, loose leaf and brewed in a teapot, of...

To the Schieffer family, my heart goes out to you during this very difficult time. Susan was an amazing lady, educator and friend. Our lives are richer for having known her and our hearts ache with the news of her passing. Blessing to you in the days and months ahead.
