Not sure what to say?

I am shocked and saddened to learn about this today. I too saw Susanne's name listed in the NCSU College of Design publication Designlife, and rushed to look on Facebook to verify if it was true. Susanne and I met our freshman year at NCSU in 1978. She was one of my very best friends in college. She was a mentor and a dear friend in those days, and she made it a point to keep in touch...

Susanne will be missed. She was warm, smart and funny. She always had a smile and I enjoyed our conversations and her friendship. My condolences to her family. God´s strength and peace.

I was so shocked and sad to see Susanne listed with other deceased alumni in the NCSU College of Design publication Designlife. I enjoyed our friendship for many years at camp T-Bird, as well as life on the NC State campus. She was always a fun and caring person, and I wish I had not lost touch with her. May you feel God´s peace during this difficult time.

Susanne was an awesome camp friend to us. She was game for all pranks and hijinks and she could keep it a secret-never ratting anyone out! We continued being friends for the next 40 plus years...a great lady! We will remember her smile and warmth always.

Susanne, so it seems these decades later, was in our early youth routinely pleasant,...
