Susie Aurel Bryan Coleman Cox Funeral Home Delhi Funeral services for Mrs. Sue A. Coleman, 95, of Denham Springs, LA formerly of Monticello will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, LA with Rev. Fred Hale and Rev. William "Buddy" McGuirk officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM, Friday until time of service at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mrs. Coleman was a liftime resident of the Monticello Community in East Carroll Parish, LA. She has resided the last five years in the Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs. Any planned memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, %Lester Oswalt, 3161 Hwy 877, Lake Providence, LA 71254. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Owen Bryan and Mary Frank Stanley Bryan; two sisters, Verline Bryan Ezell and Georgia Belle Stephens; her husband, Morris Coleman, a son David E. Coleman; and two grandchildren Gwendolyn Coleman and William Paul Coleman. Mrs. Coleman is survived by two sons, Ralph W. Coleman and wife Florece and Carl C. Coleman and wife Pam all of Monticello, LA; a daughter-in-law Sue Wiggins Coleman of Denham Springs, LA; a sister Clyde Raley of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Lane, Joey, Wesley, Brian and Brady Coleman and Cain Oswalt. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Philley and Charles Hopper.
