Sylvia was one of those super-knowledgeable folks who was easy to reach, easy to understand, and pleasant in all circumstances. She was an engineer in a manufacturing company with mostly guys and had no problem holding her own. Great lady and good friend to many. Led a fine life obviously cut too short.

Sylvia was a happy, fun friend to have when we were little. My mom, Mary, is 91. Our last name is Talley.
I remember your mom would let us watch TV and play Head of the Class. We lived on Twitter from 1955? till 1968?
Somewhere I have a picture of Sylvia and...

I spent many years on the NACE Los Angeles Section Board with Sylvia and have fond memories of her. Unfailingly polite and professional and always willing to contribute where she could. A consumate, respected professional in a male dominated field in addition to being a wonderful person. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and my sincere condolences to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Sylvia.
