Reflecting on her accomplishments at Brookfield Zoo, one can only speculate what great work she would have succeeded at in the following 15 years. Her legacy is also in Travis, Leo and Maya and their unfolding lives.

Time flies by far too fast and yet the shock seems to be as if it were yesterday. Sleep in peace.

Remembering Taras joy and laugh today, and missing her so much. My heart goes out to her wonderful parents and beautiful children.

Beautifully written piece in the Tribune on the 4th of July. I stumbled across it from far away. Sorry for your loss I hope to see tonight in the sky.

Tara, we miss you everyday and fondly remember your smile that could light up an entire room. Some of my heart is missing.
