Not sure what to say?

I have some great memories of Ted when I filled in on the piano at Moreland Avenue. He was truly a man of God who has left a great legacy.

Ted and I met when his church was still on Moreland Ave. We were both members of the Atlanta Council of International Organizations, an umbrella group for many different groups working in the international field. We discovered we had the same birthday - June 14th and neither one of us had met anyone else with that date. I was so happy for him when he remarried but never had the pleasure of meeting his wife. As it happens in life we were at different stages with our families, so sadly it has...

Mrs. Boland and Family. I attended the Baptist Church in McRae, when Rev. Boland was minister. Then when I moved to Decatur, I attended the Moreland Bapist Church where he was minister. I know he will be missed by those that knew and love him.

Ted was one of God's faithful servants to the people of Moreland Avenue Baptist Church for many years. He knew each member personally and was steadfast as the congregation grew smaller. I am grateful God sent him to tend these faithful few - my Mother, Addie Mae Ivie, was one of them; may he rejoice with them now.
To Jeri and the rest of the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Donna, We know you're proud of the legacy and love your dad left behind to all he came in contact with. We are so lucky to have had the chance to know him. We'll never forget he gave Perry a place to stay before we were married. It was that kind of spirit that permeated the type of husband, father, and grandfather he was. Like King David, he was a man after God's own heart. We love ya'll and have you in our prayers during this time.

Jeri, my love and aloha to you during this difficult time. May the Lord be your constant comfort. We're all praying for you.

My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of sadness. Jim Parkman

He was an Angel among us, and now this Angel has his wings. He was a man of conviction when it came to his faith, serving God, and helping ALL others. I grew up listening to his words of wisdom every Sunday for many years, and was also Baptised by him. I feel honored and blessed to have known him. He was a very important part in my life and the lives of others. Rest in peace Rev. Boland. We all love you.
