Not sure what to say?

I worked with Teresa for just a brief time at Akebia. I reported to her for just a few months, but it felt like I knew her forever. She was so approachable and easy to talk to. It was a pleasure working with her.

She treated everyone with respect and always lend a helping hand. Although, I only worked with her for a short time, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity.

I am so sorry for yourloss. I will never forget Teresa. She was a very special person.

I just found out yesterday of Teresa's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Teresa at Akebia Therapeutics. She was such a warm and loving person and my brief time interacting with her left a profound impression on me. She was a really easy person to talk to and we've had some talks.

Peace...

Teresa was a warm and vibrant personality that let nothing get her down or in her way. She taught me a lot about science, viruses in particular, and people styles while we worked together under Neil Cooper at Scripps in La Jolla CA. She will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to the family for having lost your loved one so young.

Scripps Research c.1990

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Teresa was one of my mentors while at Scripps (circa 1990) and was responsible for the very first time my name was published on a scientific paper just before I went on to graduate school. She taught me a lot about science and I credit her for giving me a great start in my career. Thank you, Teresa.
