Terry Mc Donald, age 59, of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006, at the Good Samaritan Home in George, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 22, 2006, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon. Father Robert. J. Schimmer officiating. Burial in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon. Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. with Scriptural Wake Service at 7:00 P.M. The family will be present from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon. Terrance "Terry" Lee McDonald was born on November 18, 1947, in Sheldon, Iowa. He was the son of Emmett and Bertha (Pedicourt) McDonald. He lived his youth in Sheldon, Iowa, where he attended St. Patrick's Catholic School. He married Mary Jane Rol of Boyden, Iowa, in August of 1967. They were married for 10 years. He married Pat Teeselink of Spirit Lake, Iowa, on July 25, 1985. They were married for 18 years. Terry lived and worked in Sioux City, Iowa, Norfolk, Nebraska, and La Mirada, California, before moving back to Sheldon, where he was employed by Mc Donald Roofing. Terry enjoyed fishing and he was an avid trapper and hunter. He enjoyed the outdoors, grilling, watching westerns and old movies, visiting family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006, at the Good Samaritan Home in George, Iowa. Those left to cherish his memories are his son and daughter-in-law: James Lee and Rogerica McDonald of Sheldon, IA; his daughter and son-in-law: Teresa Marie and Rick Rohr of Little Suamico, WI; six grandchildren; one step-son: Scott Teeselink of Rock Valley, IA; one step-daughter: Rhonda (Barry) Mordick of Sheldon, IA; two brothers: Jim (Sharon) McDonald of Matlock, IA, Dan (Marie) McDonald of Sanborn, IA; three sisters: Judy (Bernie) Slinger of Casa Grande, AZ, Kathleen (John) Eernesse of Mesa, AZ, Margaret (Eugene) Decker of Casa Grande, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Phyllis Warlock; one brother: Jerry McDonald.
