Theodore W. Browne "Ted" 85 of Scotch Plains, died peacefully at home with his
family by his side on Tuesday May 9, 2017.

Funeral will be 9 am Monday May 15 from Rossi Funeral Home
1937 Westfield Avenue Scotch Plains NJ. Funeral Mass 9:30 am
St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains. Interment
St.Teresa Cemetery, Summit. Visitation 5-8 pm Sunday May 14
at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made
to the Center for Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Road Scotch Plains NJ 07076.


Ted was born in Plainfield, NJ and settled to Scotch Plains in
1962. Ted Graduated the Teterboro School of Aeronautics.
He is a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the
Korean War. Ted was the Past President of Watchung Stable
Auxiliary Club and a member of the American Legion Post
209 of Scotch Plains. Ted was employed as a lab technician
with Engelhard Industries for 22 years, retiring in 2000.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Bridget (nee Lonergan ),
children, Jeffrey, Kevin, Dr. Judith Browne and Kelly Wesner and
husband Todd, his sister Gladys Lanendola, 7 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Can't believe it has been 5 years since Ted's passing. I remember him as a wonderful family man, full of knowledge and very personable. So sorry for your loss...

Bridget and family, Thinking of you on the anniversary of Ted's passing. I knew Ted through Watchung Stables when he started riding at age 70. He was a wonderful man who could converse with anyone and bring a smile to your face! He was called to heaven all too soon. Rest in peace, dear Ted!
