Theodore Panreck 67, of Scotch Plains, died on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, after a long illness.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4-6 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Avenue, Scotch Plains, with a service being offered at 5:30 pm in the Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to Smile Train Charity.

Theodore was born in Weisbaden, Germany on January 31, 1956, and immigrated to the United States with his parents in June of 1956, when he was 5 months old. He became a US citizen 10 years later in 1966. Theodore attended Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School where he played Varsity soccer for the Raiders and graduated in 1974. After graduation from High School Theodore went to work for Thumans Inc, working there for 11 years prior to starting his own business of repairing Industrial Sewing Machines, which he operated for over 30 years.
Theodore was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching soccer, especially the World Cup. Theodore was very handy and was always willing to help out family members and friends with a home project. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew.
Theodore is predeceased by his father Rudolf Panreck.
Theodore is survived by his loving Mother Anna Panreck, Caring Brother Herman B. and his wife Lisa, Caring Sister Emily P. and her husband Frank, he is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Madelyn and Nicholas Cannone, Hanna & Gillian Panreck.
