OWENS, Theresa Browder, 54, of King William County, Va., passed away after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Browder. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James "Jamie" R. Owens Jr. and their children, Mathew (Kristin), Kevin, Stephanie (Blake); two very special grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter' caring sister, Linda B. McLaughlin; her other loving parents, James and Agnes; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Alan) Ware, Kim (Kenny) Butler; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a life-long member of Shepherds United Methodist Church, where she was active in many church functions and was the youngest member of the Joy Club. The family will receive friends Sunday (today) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at B. W. White Funeral Home, 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, at Shepherds United Methodist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shepherds United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 245 St. Stephens Church, Va. 23148 or Joy Club 2774 Essex Mill Rd., Dunnsville, Va. 22454.
